Online teacher training program: Augmented Reality for Cultural Heritage Education (AR4CHE)

AR4CHE course addresses Art, History or Media Design teachers who want to try innovative AR tools and technologies to inspire their learners for Cultural Heritage. AR4CHE course helps teachers understand the pedagogical value of AR technologies, use AR for teaching Art, Culture, or Media Design, and empower them to design and implement simple AR-based projects with their learners.

Features of the AR4CHE course:

  • Modular structure (5 modules dealing with Cultural Heritage, Augmented Reality technologies, and creation of AR projects in schools)
  • No fees
  • Receving badges.

From the 3rd of February to 31st of May 2020, the AR4CHE course was piloted by teachers from CultApp partner countries. 34 teachers have successfully completed the entire course and received a Certificate of achievement! Their feedback on the course contents was collected, analysed and used for final improvements.

The good news is: now the AR4CHE course is open for everybody!
